Ericka Kvistad, wants to share the artistry, the intrigue, and the mystery, that Vintage Jewelry, Costume Jewelry, Purses and Accessories can bring to your Style. She wants to bring out a lot of these great old pieces and share with those who truly appreciates them for what they are, rare and extraordinary. Or, whoever dares to dress outside of the box by adding bold accessories. She wants to highlight and present to you, each of these vintage, antique, and collectible pieces because of their quality and rich look, that isn't felt or seen for the same prices today. Her goal... deliver to you, unique accessories via online but with a boutique style, excellent personal customer experience. She believes that there is a vintage accessory for EVERYONE, no matter what your style!
Ericka started Old & Vain Vintage LLC after 35 years of collecting only solid & rare vintage pieces. She also inherited a large & extensive collection from her Mother's high quality vintage costume jewelry business that was in service for over 30 years. Both are collectors to this day. Ericka still receives items and vintage jewelry consultation from her Mom. The eye for great vintage and obsession with buying quality accessories is clearly inherited. The combination of both collections & knowledge makes for a terrific store. So many decades and designs of vintage jewelry & accessories!

The age of True Vintage has been debated . Some say older than 20 years, others say 40-50 years. Anything 100 years and older is an Antique.
Vintage (and Antique)
items are collectible. They hold extra value if the materials used are not manufactured anymore. Or if the piece is designer signed or has a maker's marking/stamp. But there are also unsigned rare beauties that still hold great value to many.
Much are heirlooms that can be further handed down because they just don't make things like they used to.
They are conversation pieces and true remnants of history.
Vintage items are pre-owned, and most show some sign of wear or age, especially under close inspection or magnifier.
All Vintage Items sold in this store are authentic and some Antique.
Nothing sold on this site will have defects that outshine the beauty of the piece. But it is your opinion that counts when purchasing, so please ask questions before buying.
